• Harmony Education and Learning for Peace (HELP)
Harmony Education for Learning and Peace (HELP) is a program for Socio-Religious Interfaith Harmony. It aims to provide a platform to people belonging to different faiths / casts and communities to get together and exchange their opinion regarding different issues. It also provides them opportunity to explore each others values, religions, cultures and traditions for the creation of the culture of acceptability, harmony and respect. This program also focuses on reducing fundamentalism and extremism amongst the society.
Following projects/activities are going on (carried out) by CDA
• A Cricket Tournament for PEACE
CDA annually organizes a Cricket Tournament for PEACE with the aim to promote peace and harmony through sports. People belonging to different faith, casts, cultures and ethnicities take part in the cricket tournament. In past years, the tournament was supported by Action-Aid Pakistan, National Commission for Justice and PEACE and Youth Parliament of Pakistan.
• International PEACE Day Campaign
Every year CDA celebrate the International Day of PEACE organizing events in the communities engaging people belonging to different faiths, casts and ethnicities. Usually CDA organizes the dialogues between the people belonging to different faiths while the activities of the campaign also includes exposure visit to other’s religion, media campaigning and candle lightening for PEACE.
